Who is setting up camp on the riverbank? That's our old friend Snufkin!

The latest arrival to the Moomin Play by Lappset series is the Snufkin's Camp.

Let’s make a nice trip to the forest at the Snufkin’s Camp! We can play some exciting climbing, balancing and hiding games, and then set our camp, eat a little snack and play in the tent.

The fascinating play complex includes a versatile tower play, tent and a tunnel. In addition, the area includes various play items which can be used as little tables and seats or for balancing.

The area can also be placed next to the ”Moominhouse yard” complex.

The products can naturally be purchased also individually.

Snufkin's forest

The Snufkin’s forest is an inclusive play product that offers many activities also for children with limited abilities.

Moomin tent

The tent offers a plenty to do, both in- and outside. You can practice grip climbing along the outer walls! There’s a little maze inside the tent: can you get through without touching the poles and Snufkin’s belongings?

Moomin log tunnel

What could be more fun than hiding in the trunk of a fallen tree? And when you are big enough, you can also climb on top and test your balancing skills on the trunk. For adults, the log tunnel provides also a comfortable place to rest, while overseeing the children's play.

Balancing route

Combine the flowers of Moominmamma’s garden to build cute table and seating groups and nice balancing trails together with wooden clover shaped balancing steps.

The  climbing tower has play functions on three levels. On the ground, we play hide and seek. The fishing net is perfect for balancing and relaxing with a friend. The slide on the second level is easy to reach with the triangular floors. On the highest level, which can be reached by a curved climbing wall, we can explore the environment with a play telescope and then come down on the higher slide.

The Moominhouse yard

Whose room is on the third floor?

A Dragon game and a map of Moominvalley – who can it be?

The room obviously belongs to Moomintroll, who - together with his friends - built a huge tube slide that goes from his room all the way down to the yard.

Three floors of play

The Moominhouse rises to a height of more than seven meters, so climb up and admire the valley from above.

Is that you, Muskrat?

Tracks lead under the bridge, where the wise philosopher lives. Or is he having a nap in a hammock – swinging gently while enjoying the sweet day breeze.

Climbing on many levels

There are several routes to climb up to the heights of the Moominhouse.

Stairs inside the house let the younger children to move easily from a room to another, when the ladder outside the house gives something extra to the more experienced adventurer.

All roads lead to the Moominhouse

Cross the brook by balancing from one rock to another or by hopping over the arch bridge.

Do you want to play tag? You can’t touch the green ground!

It’s time for dessert in Moominmamma’s kitchen!

Do you want to bake pancakes? The pie in the oven looks delicious, don’t forget to take it out on time!

What does the Moominhouse look like?

First Moomin-themed play area completed in Kotka’s Katariina Seaside Park

"The Moomin playground has been a great addition to Katariina Seaside Park. The smallest family members and families with children, in general, have been taken into account even better with this project," commented Heikki Laaksonen, Kotka City Gardener.
